Members of the Medical and Scientific Advisory Board (MSAB) are professionals in medicine, dentistry and allied health fields who represent the wide spectrum of specialties involved in Sjögren's syndrome diagnosis, treatment, and research.

MSAB Counselors are appointed on the basis of the esteem in which the individual is held within his/her specialty and for the services he/she provides to the Foundation. Counselors are designated below by an asterisk. They are non-voting members of the MSAB.

The MSAB members initially responsible for guiding SSF Founder Elaine Harris in the formation of the Sjögren's Syndrome Foundation, Drs. James J. Sciubba, Steven Carsons and Ira J. Udell, hold the honorary title of "Founding Member".
