Tax Deduction For Medical Conferences
The Internal Revenue Service has ruled (Ruling 2000-24) that "Amounts paid by an individual for expenses of admission and transportation to a medical conference relating to a chronic disease of the individuals dependent are deductible as medical expenses under Code section 213."

The SSF recommends that you consult with your financial advisor or tax preparer for specifics about your situation.
