The Sjögren’s Foundation has once again partnered with Pri-Med, a leading provider of continuing medical education for Primary Care Providers (PCPs) to deliver a program on Sjögren’s. On February 10th, Spotting Sjögren’s: Keys to Successful Diagnosis for PCPs will be part of PrimaryCareNOW, a free two-day live, virtual CME program. Primary Care Providers (MD, DO, NP and PA’s) can register for this conference and have the opportunity to earn up to 18.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and 18.50 ABIM Medical Knowledge MOC Points, or 18.50 AANP contact hours of continuing education, including 0.66 hour of pharmacology.
During this one hour program, Dr. Donald E Thomas, Rheumatologist and Chair of the Sjögren’s Foundation National Board of Directors, will help PCPs learn to identify the complex symptoms of Sjögren’s, methods used for diagnosing the disease, and strategies for managing symptoms in a primary care setting.
After the LIVE program on February 10th, this program will become an enduring online CME program for one full year (until February 10, 2023). PCPs can earn 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, 1.00 ABIM MOC or 1.00 AANP, including 0.33 AANP Pharmacology by completing the online activity.
